These two pages started out as a dream, and ended up becoming a nightmare. When I started them I thought I'd be
finished with them in 7-8 days, since there are nice big single-color
patches in them... and I could've done it had I not miscounted right at
the beginning of the first light pink, having to frog almost 500
stitches. It threw back my progress with at least 3-4 days, and let's
not even talk about my mood. Whatever, with these 2 pages I've finished
the first full column, so I've reached the bottom edge of the wip :))))

What a horrible miscount :(
ReplyDeleteDo you stitch it on 25 count ?thats almost not possible to frog that must have took you a lot of time
I love this design so colourfull must be very nice to stitch ( if you dont need to frog ) and you must be very happy to be at the bottom :)
No, actually I'm stitching it on 30 count, 1 over 1. Yeah, it was pretty hard to frog in that small size, but I'm definitely happy to have reached the bottom border! :)))
Delete30 count ! And then you have to frog !
DeleteWow you must have very good eyes :)
But in real it lmust ooks even more stunning
Look forward to see your next update
Yeah, it looks pretty great :D Actually I wear glasses, but my prescription has been the same for the last 15 years or so :D And I never had a problem with high stitch count fabrics, my favorite is 32 count (1 over 1, of course :D) My eyes adjusted to it in about 2 days when I first started stitching on it, and now Aida looks sooooo big to me :D
DeleteI feel ya on the horrible frogging...been there, done that! At least it's now just a memory! The design is stitching up amazing though!
