left off here:

and got to here this weekend:

I noticed they changed the name of the piece on the HAED website, ironically to "The Evil Queen". I'm sure it was for copyright reasons, but I can't be the only Disney geek who is a bit irked by the choice in name change considering it's too close to another Disney villain's moniker (and is often interchanged with the Wicked Queen, Snow White's step-mother), plus, Maleficent is a fairy, not a queen, so the title doesn't even make sense! I will continue to call mine Maleficent because that is what my pattern says (and that is who she is).
Great progress, well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThat's a lot of progress and a lot of dark colours. I bet you'll be glad when the brighter colours start appearing! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's not a bright piece overall, but I'm kind of looking forward to the purple. I do think all the teal is going to drive me mad!
Delete: ) I love it ,...... please don`t give up .I initially also been thinking to buy this beautiful template ... thanks to you I left .I embroider prefer simpler charts!
ReplyDeleteSo I manage to finish it............
They've added a bunch of mini's of it, but the dithering makes it look even worse. It's not one I'd recommend, that's for sure! At least I have a stash of Jasmines to last a lifetime!
